We are expanding our portfolio and funds under management and looking for a bright, curious, and driven individual who thrives in a collaborative and high-performance environment to support the investment team.
The role is to take an Investment Analyst Position within the investment team to meet the demand from the target companies we are looking to invest in, and support the existing portfolio and our funds under management.
The role is for an Employment Equity (EE) candidate with the following experience as needed to perform the outlined role below:
A minimum of an undergraduate degree (finance-related). CA, CFA, and/or Honours degree or another relevant accreditation would be beneficial but not required.
Around 1–3 years of relevant experience, ideally in finance, consulting, or a fast-paced analytical environment.
Preference given to candidates with non-listed equity valuation and financial modelling experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and a high level of analytical aptitude.
High proficiency with MS business suite and tools, including Excel, Word and Outlook;
Role will include (but not limited to):
Conducting financial due diligence focused around:
Financial modelling and analysis.
Company and industry analysis.
Preparing investment papers and reports.
Monitoring, evaluation, and reporting:
Financial and impact reporting, including hands-on, detailed, and complex valuations work.
Portfolio performance monitoring, including interpreting and presenting of key performance metrics.
Travel and events:
National and regional travel may be required, including attending industry-related events and courses.
Assisting with aspects relating to executing, managing, and reporting on investments and valuations, with direct exposure to the businesses’ partners, the investment process, the deal team, underlying portfolio investments, scaling and exiting businesses, and aspects related to raising and managing a fund.

Remuneration package will be aligned with the candidate and may include performance and equity targets.
Cape Town (HO) based (while work-life flexibility is encouraged, this is not a remote working role).
