SwiftVEE is a Bloomberg startup to watch

Bloomberg’s inaugural list of African startups to watch in 2025 highlights companies developing innovative solutions to the continent’s many challenges.

Among the 25-strong list of African innovators is SwiftVEE - the latest entrant to HAVAÍC's portfolio of tech startups contributing to real change and economic development on the continent.

SwiftVEE is Africa’s largest online livestock and game trading platform. The startup brings both formal and informal traders into the market and maximises participation with livestream technology to widen the buyer audience and ultimately improve profit margins for the traders. This is especially impactful for the more than 249 million African women who keep livestock as a primary form of creating financial security.
