The annual ranking - currently in its second year - indicates that African companies across a variety of sectors - fintech, renewable energy, healthcare, commodities, and agriculture - managed to grow while much of the world slowed down. It also points to increasing interest in the African continent from global investors in Silicon Valley, Asia, and Europe.
